Connecting or changing your Stripe Connect payout account in Wevolt Hub

Wevolt pays out your public charging revenue through Stripe Connect. This guide shows operators how to connect a Stripe account for the first time, or switch to a different one — for example after a change of bank details, a business sale, or a name change.

✓ This is a required first step for public charging

A public charging licence cannot be purchased or assigned, and a charger cannot go public, until your Stripe Connect account is connected — this is where your charging revenue is paid. If you are setting up a new public charger, complete this step before assigning a Public licence. See How Do I Get Started?

What you need

  • Operator access to Wevolt Hub
  • Your existing Stripe account login, or your business and bank details to create a new one

Steps

1. Navigate to hub.wevolt.com.au and sign in.

2. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner.

3. Click Settings.

4. Click Change Stripe Connect Account.

5. Log in to your existing Stripe account, or create a new one by following the on-screen Stripe instructions.

Finish the Stripe onboarding

Complete every step Stripe asks for, including identity and bank verification. Payouts only flow once Stripe shows your account as fully set up. If you are switching to a new account, finish its setup or payouts will pause until it is verified.
